Bags are handed in at the hotel at check-out and collected later that day at the Welcome Center; the fee is ¥800 a piece, and the collection window depends on when the bag was dropped — handed in by 09:00 it is ready from 13:00, between 09:00 and 10:30 from 14:00, between 10:30 and 12:30 from 15:30. Anything not collected by 20:00 goes back to the hotel, which is the detail worth writing on a hand: a family that goes into a park for the evening after check-out can miss its own luggage.

Valuables, breakable items, beverages, and fragile electronics such as laptops are excluded from the service altogether, so anything in that category still has to travel with the family.

What It Costs, and What It Replaces

Arriving, nothing. That is the part worth restating, because the English-language write-ups that quote ¥800 a bag have taken the departure-day figure and applied it to both directions. A family of four landing at Maihama with three suitcases pays ¥0 to walk out of the station empty-handed and go straight to a park gate.

Leaving costs ¥2,400 for those same three bags. Whether that is worth paying depends on one thing: whether the last day has park hours in it. If check-out is followed by a flight, carry them. If check-out is followed by a final morning in a park, ¥800 a bag buys the difference between queueing for a locker and not, and the bags wait at the Welcome Center on the way back to the train — as long as the family is there before 20:00.

If Your Hotel Is Not on the List

A Partner Hotel guest is not excluded here either, but the counter is a different one: Bon Voyage, at ¥800 a bag, is the route the resort names for that tier and for Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel, so the fallback below is not the first move there. Guests at a Good Neighbor Hotel should check that specific property's own guest-benefits page or the resort's official hotel list before assuming either way, since the tier covers a wide range of independently run hotels and not all of them publish the same benefit. A guest at a hotel in central Tokyo, outside any of the four tiers, genuinely has no Bon Voyage counter to use. The usual fallback is a same-day coin locker at Maihama Station or inside the parks, which solves the "do not want to carry it all day" problem but not the "get it to a different hotel" one.
