A resort with four hotels sells out at a lead time that has nothing to do with demand - it is a function of how many rooms were ever built. Niseko's slope-side inventory is 200-plus separate, mostly small properties rather than a handful of large hotels, and demand for the best of them comes from across the world, not just Japan. That bed-supply picture - not a single published deadline - is what puts nine to twelve months ahead of a January or February stay in the safe range, and closer to twelve for a premium ski-in/ski-out unit such as Setsu Niseko. Leaving it to around three months before arrival typically means choosing from whatever earlier bookers passed over. ### Does Rusutsu's 28-day discount mean rooms last until the last month? Not by itself. Rusutsu's "Early Bird 28" package, running through 30 March 2027 as of the August 2026 check, only confirms the resort is still selling packaged room-and-lift deals past 28 days out - it says nothing about whether every room category is still available then, and the cheapest usually go first. ### What happens if a Club Med Kiroro booking needs to be cancelled?
